By submitting materials other than utilities, programs, or documentation to VGWS, VGWS message boards, or VGWS Staff, you grant a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, nonexclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works of and distribute such materials or incorporate such materials into any form, medium, or technology now known or later developed throughout the universe. Such materials include, but are not limited to, counter fonts, clock fonts, saved games, and text that is neither documentation of technical nature nor instructions for usage of a program or utility. The intentions of this clause are to allow VGWS Staff to 1) use the content of the VGWS site in promoting the site, 2) adapt content, such as counter fonts, for presentation through or use with current or future technology (i.e., changing the counter service so that counters automatically generate one image from several counter digits), 3) create new saved games using submitted saved games. VGWS Staff may not use this clause to claim ownership of submitted materials.
